Judging by the artists whom we represent - McBride Fine
Art holds a broad portfolio. Although there is an clear focus on photography as a medium, we are looking to diversify into other media or approaches in the arts. At this point, our program includes intimate musings, as well as more
analytical approaches.
In the past McBride Fine Art has managed to cooperate with several public and private institutions in the way of facilitating exhibitions and publications. The singular aim of the gallery is to participate in the collective effort of cultural dialogue.
This site serves to advertise the current program and to document past exhibitions. Much of the current commercial activity has shifted to the art fairs, while the exhibition activity is increasingly becoming a token public service and a prerequisite to art fair admissions. After tying in web designers, graphic designers and photographers into the maintenance of the site in the past, MFA has finally decided to focus less on appearance and more on content. Hopefully, updates will happen with more efficacy and less frustration. The viewer may excuse the less than polished appearance But after all: nothing can replace an encounter in real time and place.
